This year is the 10th birthday celebrations for SecondLife!
A party has been planned just for you!
“Looking Forward. Looking Back” is the theme with 20 sims filled with art, exhibitions and information created by the residents for the residents. Whether you like photography, machinima, scripting, art, music, roleplay or just being amazed at what people can create there is literally something for everyone on offer.
At noon slt the sims open and entertainment galore kicks off. There are four magnificent performance stages and tonight I’m going to detail them all .. so grab a slice of cake and get ready for the biggest party in town.
Introducing the biggest stage of all for the SL10B performances. This amazing build was created by Flea Bussy and Toady Nakamura of Grendels. This stage is affectionately known as A’stra or Turtle Stage or officially The Live Stage. To say this stage is breathtaking simply does not do it justice. If you can only visit one thing for SL10B, please make this your trip.
Built over TWO sims, this creative design is clearly visible as you wander around SL10B. One interesting fact about this build is all foliage is created from Linden plants, yes those same ones found in your inventory folder. Visit and maybe get some ideas for your next landscaping adventure.
Aside from hosting great performances this creation is one to explore, photograph and enjoy. Hidden amongst the foliage are surprise gifts and easter eggs for you to find.

Built by Kazuhioe Ariddian the Lake Stage was created to encompass nature and all things magical, this giant tiered mushroom tree is brightly lit by hanging lanterns. Teleport to the bottom level entrance to catch some falling petals, then walk up the bridges to the different levels. If you dare have your draw distance up high you will marvel at the magnificent views this stage offers.

This is the stage I will be working this year and I couldn’t be more thrilled. So make sure you check the schedule and come visit and say hello 🙂
Take a walk on the wild side and head over to this awesome nuclear reactor. Built by KT Syakumi cooling tower number 1 is the DJ Stage home and perfect for power-driven DJ music. However don’t think this stage is just about music being offered, take the time to explore for hidden underneath is a maze of tunnels with all sorts of hazards waiting to be unearthed.

10 years ago it all started with a cube, a little prim coloured box. Who would have imagined those little cubes would grow into a wonderous cake tree. You heard me right, if you are feeling a tad hungry after dancing away with the nuclear material or catching petals at the Lake stage head over to Cake Stage were there is strawberries, banana’s and frosting aplenty. Grab a cube of cake and chow down to even more performances.

Keep in mind that like all events with many people lag is often a problem. Try to limit your script count, take off all unnecessary hud’s and ao’s but do attempt to battle the lag and attend a performance, you won’t regret a moment of it.
