Anyone who is anyone knows just how collectible the “Linden Bears”
were hmmm ..are. Although as the Linden’s started to become less visible on grid the knowledge of these bears has faded into the days of old.
When a Linden started working at Linden Labs they were asked to create a bear that best represented themselves. As the residents of SecondLife dealt with a Linden you could ask for their bear. It was a sign that you had personally interacted with a Linden. Through out the year certain events would be held across the grid where you could meet different Lindens, collecting their bear and often picking up the special bear made for that occasion.
SecondLife birthday celebrations soon became the best place to collect bears due to the Linden’s involvement around the different stages and events. This year is unlike others with it being the second year that the residents have managed the birthday celebrations. There is no official 10th birthday bear that can be tucked into your inventory collection BUT the Linden’s do have on offer for SL10B a giant bear avatar via Marketplace for $0Linden. Be creative and dress it up and make it yours! Whilst on marketplace pick up the other gifts offered by the Linden’s for this birthday celebration.
