If you have a little time left up your sleeve and want to enjoy the twinkling lights and decorations of Second Life then I recommend doing the Freebird’s 2015 Tour of Lights Event.
This is the second year for the Tour of Lights and with just over 50 sim’s participating a good few hours can be spent exploring the snowy world of Second Life. Or as the first set of pictures show, not everyone has turned their world white for the Christmas period.
This post was originally going to be part of a 3 visit postcard but then I realized that the tour closes on the 21st which means, you have to carjack Santa’s sleigh and whiz around SecondLife like a elf on Redbull to see it all.
The slurl I have provided starts you at stop #2 and after visiting all you need to do is hit the green arrow at each home to move to the next one. Unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be a easily accessible listing of landmarks anywhere however the website (Tour of Lights Blog ) does list any broken links and is regularly updated.
I found a good number of places appropriate for family visits with many owners going that extra mile to bring Christmas cheer to the residence of SecondLife by included fun seasonal activities to enjoy such as ice-skating and yes, even a cafe!
This coffee addict thanks each and every home owner who has shared their special bit of Second Life this Christmas. You have added a special type of “bling” to our world.
Now everyone, grab a hot cocoa and go spend some time enjoying the carols, snow and unique Christmas cheer of Second Life.
Hugs, Pb x
